About CHEAV
Christian Home Educators of the Antelope Valley (CHEAV) exists to support and advance private home schooling in the Antelope Valley . Only those involved in private home education and not enrolled in public oversight programs (including charter schools) are eligible for membership. We believe our children are gifts from God and that the Bible grants Christian parents the right and privilege to teach and train their children according to Biblical standards.
Christian Home Educators of the Antelope Valley is a member of the Christian Home Educators Association of California (CHEA) Support Group Network and a Group Discount Member of Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA). Membership Applications for HSLDA are available upon request. As a CHEAV Member, you are eligible to receive a $20 group discount off your membership fee with HSLDA. This number will be made available to you upon registration.
Each month we publish a newsletter to keep members informed of upcoming homeschool events. We ask for a yearly donation of $25 to cover the cost of producing the newsletter as well as some of the other occasional expenses of the group.

Statement of Faith
Christian Home Educators of the Antelope Valley is a non-denominational Christian group dedicated to equipping parents to fulfill their God ordained responsibility to educate and spiritually train their children. We hold to the following statement of faith:
GOD: We believe in the sovereignty of God and that He eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, having the same nature, attributes, and perfection.
JESUS: We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, truly God, and truly man. We believe that Christ was crucified for our sins, He arose from the dead, was seen by many witnesses and later ascended to the right hand of the Father where He ceaselessly intercedes for those who are His.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the Holy Spirit, who encourages, guides, comforts, and transforms in the way of Christ.
THE BIBLE: We believe that all Scripture, found in the sixty-six books of the Bible, was given by inspiration of God; that it is inerrant in the original writings; and that its teaching and authority is absolute, supreme, and final.
